Nordy's Anniversary Sale Faves !!

There are only just a few short days of the Anniversary Sale left! Just a few days to snag some great deals for the fall! 

I think this year is the best year yet. the variety of items they have included in the sale are a lot greater than last year's, from what I remember. I have had to narrow it down to my absolute fave items because there are just wayyyyy too many!

I love Ivanka Trump shoes...The styles are great and they are so comfortable! These beauties come in 3 different colors but my favorite are the "smoke"

These are about $100 off retail price--such a bargain! And leopard print is such a neutral for me! I love to mix it with colors and prints!

DIY Dining Room Gallery Wall

Happy Monday!! 

I hope you had a great weekend! We sure did! It was busy busy! Gus had a birthday party Saturday and Sunday Olivia competed in her first beauty pageant--Which was soooo adorable! She didnt win but it's not a big deal. She's only 16 months  and it was her first one. It's all a learning experience! She LOVED being on stage! I'll have to share pictures soon! 

I found this inspiration on Pinterest for a gallery wall on the back wall of my dining room. I love black and white pictures so it was just perfect! 

After Gus' Birthday Party on Saturday, we headed down to IKEA and I found some similar frames. And my wonderful husband put them up for me! If you follow me on Instagram im sure you saw the pictures of Gus helping daddy out! He's the cutest thing ever!

I am so happy the way it turned out! I only bought four frames because our ceilings are nowhere near as high as the inspiration picture! but I still LOVE how it turned out! (The frames are white--im not sure why they look yellow in the picture)

I got some architecture prints printed at Staples for cheap--about $1.29 each---you can't beat it and plus you can't even tell it's not picture paper when they're in the frame and up on the wall! 

This was such a simple little project and added a nice little "homey" touch to home!

Office Nook Re-Vamp Inspiration

We have this little "office nook" in our hallway, that my husband use to use when he worked from home. Since he no longer uses it, I have decided to take over and kind of make it my little area for me to blog and keep my things. Here is a little inspiration board of where I kind of want to go with it.

We already have a desk similar to the one I found below. It's a little modern for me but it will just have to work.

{Weekend Recap}

Happy Monday!! We had a great but busy weekend this weekend!

We started Friday off with a night out with some of our closest friends. We hired a non-family babysitter for the first time, which was a huge step for us as I am very particular with who I leave Gus and Olivia with. It went great though! And it was so convenient to just come home after we had had a few drinks and not have to drive to go pick up the little ones :).
 

We went to a fabulous restaurant, Finka Table & Tap , which I highly recommend if you are ever in the Miami area. the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! And we may have gone a little overboard ordering but we pretty much tried everything and it was delicious!

 

(My friends are wayyy more chic than I am ;)...and before we knew it we were having lemon drops...

Saturday, the kids had a photoshoot with a local Smocked kids clothing line for their fall collection, which I will be featuring very soon! We had so much fun....actually I think I had more fun than they did! After the second round of outfits they were over the heat and posing for pictures. We did a little computer shopping and finally found our new computer yayyyy!! We got a Sony Viao and I am loving it so far!

 

 

Sunday we did a little organizing around the house! We took the kids to a Bounce house play center. Olivia LOVED it and Gus cried everytime we put him on one. So Olivia and I played in the bounce houses while my husband and Gus hung out in the arcade and played video games.

 

 

 

 

It was such a nice weekend with some much needed family time!

my next MOM bag

It's time that we graduate from the typical diaper bag. Not only am I sooooo over hauling around a huge diaper bag but Gus and Olivia are both at an age where I don't have to carry half the house wherever we go. These days I will typically take some snacks, their sippy cups, diapers and wipes along for our outings. HALLELUIAH!!!

That being said I am looking for a cute purse/tote/mom bag I can use as an everyday purse but also big enough to be able to carry their things around as well. I have narrowed down to my favorites so here they are...

Kate Spade Flatiron Nylon Sophia Grace

 

I'm sure you already I have a weakness for anything Kate Spade...I love this one because it's NYLON and simply be wiped down in case of a spill which will occur several or more than several times a day. This one is a "baby bag" on their website but it's nice and large and fits my requirements and it's on sale which is a win win in my books.

 

 

Monserat De Lucca Bajamar Tote

 

This one is half off on Shop bop right now! I am totally in love with it because it is both black and brown and it's HUGE but it looks like a carryall purse! I think I am leaning more towards this one!
