Favorite Everyday Beauty Picks

Today, I am revealing my favorite beauty picks! I tend to mix beauty products...I use some nicer ones from department stores and other grocery store products. The ones I have from the grocery store are all products that I love and have used for years, like the Revlon, Nearly Naked foundation.

The Laura Mercier eye primer is a total game changer that allows your eye makeup to last all day with no smudge. This may be one of my, "I can't live without products".

The Clinique Bronzer is one my faves as well! I have been using it for years. and never get tired of it. It gives just the right about of "bronze look without making you look orange.

The Sugar lip balm is amazing to keep your lips hydrated!! I loooooove the way it makes my lips feel!! And I love the different color options that are available. 

The Nars Blush I use in "orgasm" color gives just the right amount of pink on your cheeks. 

The Revlon Colorburst Matte is a new fave. It's a quick lip balm with just the right amount of color!! And with a grocery store price it's even better! 

I have used Revlon foundation for years. The Color Stay and the Nearly Naked are both great options! The Color Stay lasts a little longer and Nearly Naked is great for lighter coverage. 

And my all time "go to" Essie color is Ballet slippers. This is the color I've been using on all my style posts lately. It looks clean, it's classic and is versatile. Couldn't be more perfect!!

It's no secret yours truly loves a good maxi dress. This one is one my faves! It's been on repeat and probably will be for the rest of the summer. I just can't get enough of the bright colors and the embroidery! What more can you ask for in a dress?

As a mom, maxi's with the little ones are a must in my book. They hide, you look put together, are comfortable and you don't have to worry about some hanky panky accidents, if you know what I mean. Having two toddlers at the same time, one thing I have learned is that it is better to be comfortable ;).

Style || Summer Trends for Kids

This year's summer trends are involving lots of embroidery, tassels and pom poms and for little girls it's no different. I picked a few faves from one my favorite stores...J crew. Now that Gus and Olivia are practically in kids sizes (where did my babies go?! I can't believe this is happening and it's giving me bad case of baby fever!!) I can finally shop at crew cuts for them!! eeekkkk!! Can you sense the excitement?!

Once again, I am a sucker for color. love the brights. I also love what they did with the regular chino shorts --making them more feminine by adding ruffles. Genius. Lots of colored shorts that you can mix and match with almost any of the tops below!

And well, for the boys, Navy is always in. at least at our house. Gus is going through a phase where he only wants to wear blue. But lots of colored shorts and seersucker --which are two faves of mine. I think Gus has has a pair of seersucker shorts every summer since he was born. And it's such a neutral! You can easily pair it with almost any color.

I Survived #lillyfortarget

So let's just talk about all of this Lilly Pulitzer craziness. I did expect it to be this insane. I have been a lilly fan since high school but since I now live in Miami where it isn't very popular, I didn't think much of it. And I surely did not think I would be waiting outside the store. 

I had mentioned to my husband I was going to be at Target early Sunday morning, maybe 30 min before the store opened, just to be sure I got first dibs on the items I was really looking for. I ended getting there at about 7;15am and was about the 10th person in line. and slowly the line started getting longer as it got closer to 8am. I was surprised there were girls there before me!!!! 

Where did all these lilly fans come from?!

Let me just say this is pretty huge for me...I am not exactly a black Friday kinda girl who likes to brave the crowds for a good deal. This girl is not a fan crowds. 

The doors opened and women were dumping muliple of the same items in their shopping carts to the point where their carts were overflowing with merchandise... Miami I guess you proved me wrong. Lilly is more popular here than i thought. That or there are a significant amount of people who wanted to take advantage of the situation and make a few bucks, reselling. 

Long story short I was able to snag a few items for Olivia and I...I'm happy I was at least able to score a couple things that I was eyeing. 

These are all of the items I ended up with...A few items I scored from friends or family out of state that changed their mind about them after they bought them and I gladly took them off their hands ;)

If you're still on the lookout for some items and you dont want to pay a ridiculous amount for them, keep checking your local Target because people are returning items, so there is still hope!!! 

Mom Style: Blush + Destroyed Denim

 Let's talk favorite Spring trends...Distressed Jeans and blush pink are pretty up there on the list of my faves right now!!! Well, pink is always a favorite for me. Who am I kidding? and you cant forget my favorite leopard print mom bag that goes everywhere with me ;). literally. 

Distressed jeans are so easy to dress down or dress up.  Just add a pair of heels and a clutch for a casual date night and you're set!

Holiday Gift Guide || The Guys

Today, I am bringing you some gift ideas for all the gentlemen in your life...husband, boyfriend, brother, dad, uncles, cousins, grandfathers. I really love thinking of gifts to give each family member. Something they would enjoy but I think the guys are always the toughest for me to shop for. Most of the time, I ask Gus to tag along and help me pick things out. 

Can we just talk about how adorable that toggle coat is? I think that may be too preppy for my husband but it is to die for. I think he would soooo handsome in it, anyways ;)

I put together some some of my favorite fall essentials for the busy mama on the go...all. the. time. I'm not sure how I got away without adding anything pink! ha. 

The color trends I am seeing a lot of this year are wine red/burgundy, navy and black and white!! I love a fur vest...im vest  kinda gal! I love the puffy down vests too, but I think a fur vest dresses up a plain tee or dress very nicely and effortlessly! 

Leggings...well they're my fave! dress them up or down with a tee and youre good to go! 

I love a neutral bootie with a low heel that you can possibly wear daily. And a loafer!! Right now I have a very similar gold pair from the Gap on rotation! 

I think leopard prints are a neutral and I love mixing and matching with other prints. the Kate Spade bag baby bag is similar to the one the hubs got my for my birthday and I use it as a purse/carry all bag since my little ones are still toddlers but theyre too old for my to carry around a "diaper bag"! I throw EVERYTHING in there and it all fits. AMAZING!

I put together a little style board to show my game day style! 

 I chose a Falcons jersey... Sorry Miami, but I'm an Atlanta girl ;) , a pair of Blanqi High Performance leggings, my Tory flats and stud earrings, an adorable Gigi New York clutch and MAC's Playland lipstick for a touch of pink. After all all I want on Game day is to be comfortable. Forget the heels and the skirts!

Alexander and Sophia + The Coral Pear + Natalie Atick Photography

If you haven't already noticed I have a passion for children's clothes. Oftentimes, I find myself shopping wayy more for my little ones than myself. I just cant help it! 

Today, I am featuring two stylish children's brands who are both owned by moms. The first one, Alexander and Sophia, is a children's clothing line with adorable, hip styles for little ones. The talented women behind this line is a team of sisters, which I find so incredible!! 

The second is The Coral Pear, a baby shoe brand. They make all different styles of top quality leather baby moccs that are competely baby proof--meaning they are very hard for toddlers to get take them off! DING DING DING!!! That is the biggest problem I have with velcro baby shoes for Olivia! I highly recommend you check them out!

These women gave me the opportunity to style pieces from their latest Summer Collections on Gus and Olivia! Which I was thrilled about! 

On Olivia, I paired Alexander and Sophia's Dainty Lace Shorts with a simple chambray top and Pale Pink Bow Moccs from The Coral Pear. 

I am completely in love with these shorts! I love how delicate and feminine they are! The bow moccs, I think, sets The Coral Pear apart from other baby Moccs brands. I love that they are more girly that other uni-sex mocc styles! They are so comfortable for baby's chubby feet and very durable!

Gus is wearing the Bowtie Button Up from Alexander and Sophia with some bright Salmon Shorts and our favorite Saltwater Sandals. 

And the button up with the chambray is seriously just the cutest! It's classy but stylish at the same time! That's one of the things I love about their lines!
