Stylish Babe Boutique + A Giveaway

Happy Friday Y'all!! 

(Wow that sounds wierd! I AM from Atlanta but I never EVER say Y'all! It's just not my thing!) 

Today I want to share with you a strong, beautiful, fantastic woman, Sonia and her adorable little girls boutique, Stylish Babe Boutique. Sonia and I connected online and I have had such pleasure in getting to know her these past few weeks!

How precious are these clothes? I mean, I don't think they could get any more girly and fun than this!

Sonia has such a great story that supports and promotes motherhood in such a great way that I could not help but want to share her story with you! She was a strong, successful woman in her career and she gave it all up for the best job in the world...to be a mom to her little girl. 

Sonia is a retired lawyer turned stay at home mompreneur. She owned an Immigration Law practice in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. She always knew she would stay home when she had a little one. And her high end, girls boutique was the perfect business to keep her creative and business-related skills in good use and give her the ability to stay home with her gorgeous daughter, Gianna.

How and when did you decide that you wanted to open up Stylish Babe Boutique? After about a year of pondering the idea, I finally made the decision to do it on December 31 2013. I took the plunge and went “live” on social media in February of this year as a birthday gift to myself. (My birthday is Feb 13th). We have received such an incredible embrace from our fans and customers that I am just so very humbled by the support! The interest in our clothing collection has been incredible so far so we decided to change our distribution model from online sales to trunk keepers and trunk shows. To think it all started with making dresses for my own little girl.

What types of clothing does Stylish Babe Boutique carry? Stylish Babe clothing is all about celebrating every single aspect of being a girl. The clothes are comfortable, fun, colorful, and durable. The purpose is to embrace the playful vivaciousness of childhood and the creative elegance of all that is being a young girl.  Stylish Babe clothing offers two lines - Whimsical girl embodies the creative, bold, playful side of your little one and the Innocence line that reflects the femininity of being a little girl. Bold patterns, fun textures, gorgeous color coordinations, and super soft cotton - That is what Stylish Babe clothing offers. ‘Happy clothes for Happy Little Girls.’

What ages are the products geared towards? Our clothing runs from size 6 months to 10 years old.

Tell me a little bit about your Grand Opening Mommy and Me Tea Party and Fashion Show. The grand opening was wonderful! We had over 16 little models strutting their stuff on the runway ranging from age 2 to 6 years old. They did such a great job!! The outcome was overwhelming. We were featured in the front page of the Sun Sentinel and had over 60 people in attendance. It was a really happy event to celebrate our grand opening and honor motherhood.

After having hosted our Grand Opening Mommy and Me Tea Party and Fashion Show at the Boca Raton Children’s Museum just two weeks ago, Stylish Babe has been invited to be a showcased line in two fashion shows in Miami! We will be participating in the Sunni Dai’s Kids Fashion Week Miami and the Little Miss Sunshine Pageant in Miami. We are actually holding a casting call right now on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/stylishbabeboutique)  for little girls ages 3-6 to walk the runway.

Stylish Babe Boutique is an honest company that focuses on celebrating motherhood and childhood the beauty that they both bring. They celebrate childhood by incorporating the innocence and playfulness of  being a little girl into the clothing. They celebrate motherhood by always actively growing their trunk keeper team and giving moms the opportunity to stay home with their children while contributing to their family finances. They are also very active in their local community and support local non-profit organizations through fundraising and bringing awareness to their cause. 

Sonia is actively looking for trunk keepers to have trunk show parties to sell this beautiful clothing line. She wants to give this same opportunity that she has to stay home with her daughter instead of working 60+ hours a week at her law firm, to other moms. Vegas.com #myvegasstyle Challenge

Vegas.com reached out to me shortly after I styled Olivia and I's Mommy and Me headbands and I asked if I would be interested in participating in their #MyVegasStyle Challenge. Naturally, I couldn't possibly deny. I was pinching myself with excitement!! 

I am no fashion blogger. I love clothes and fashion but I don't feel "qualified" enough to be a fashion blogger. I am a stay at home mom of two. So reality is I'm typically in leggings or yoga pants, have boogers and baby drool on my shirt and my hair is in a messy bun on top of my head. (sorry for the unattractive mental picture but there's nothing better than the truth ;))

The challenge is to create three outfits for a day out in the beautiful Aria Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The first outfit I put together is for lunch at Lemongrass. The second outfit, I put together is for dinner at Javier's. And the third outfit I put together is for a night out at Haze Nightclub. 

If I was spending the day at the Aria Hotel and Casino with my handsome husband, of course, these are the fabulous outfits I would most likely be wearing...

Five on Friday

Another week has passed and im sooo glad it'ss FRIDAY!! This week has a been a busy week and long week for us over here! The majority of the week it's been raining so we've got a small case of cabin fever! But we are very hopeful the sun will be out to play this weekend!

{one} We had such a great Mother's Day weekend last week! We spent the weekend at the beach and it was so nice to have a mini-getaway without having to leave town! I guess that's one of the great things about living in Miami!

{two} My very first mother's day we went to Disney with my in-laws and Gus was barely 6 months old...I was going through old photos yesterday and found this little gem!

{three} For all of you JCrew lovers...The Jcrew Factory store has 40% off on all their new arrivals!! There are some pretty amazing steals right now!

{four} In a couple short weeks we are going to Atlanta for a few days to see a friend of mine tie the knot and visit with my family! I'm pretty excited for two date nights in a row that weekend with the hubs :). Also, so excited to catch up with some high school friends and celebrate the marriage of my friends!


{five} ThANK GOD it's FRIDAY!!!! Someone hannd me an adult beverage!!

Time to POP the bubbly!

It's time to POP the bubbly because wedding season is in full swing!!

I love weddings! Everything about them! It's so great to see the bride and groom's personalities in the style and details of the wedding! It's also so fabulous to catch up with family and friends!

My husband and I have a few weddings this season but attire is always so stressful (mostly for me)!! I can never decide what to wear! EVER! 

 I am no fashion blogger by any means but I have put together a little inspiration board for myself to see what "looks" I liked the best! Can you tell I like color? Yeah, I'm not much of a neutral person!

Celebrating Moms // 15 things I Love about Motherhood

(There is something I love about this picture...I know my eyes are closed and Olivia isn't looking at the camera but there's just something about it...I think it's Gus's face and the way he has his arm around me ;)

This week I am celebrating motherhood over here!! This week it's all about us, moms! 

Yes, motherhood is tough. I won't deny it. It is one of the hardest thing, in my opinion a woman has to do. It brings so much joy yet so many tears all at the same time. It's almost something that words can't explain. 

I have put a little list together of 
15 things I absolutley {love} about motherhood! 
Here we go...

1. You will have someone to love you unconditionally for the rest of your life. There is nothing like a child's love for his mother and a mother's love for her child.

2. You will laugh and cry all in the same sentence. 

3. There will never be a dull moment. ever. 

4. Every time you look at your child, you think they are more beautiful than the moment before. 

5. There is no greater feeling of satisfaction and happiness than the one where your baby or child looks at you with a smile on his face or giggles at you. 

6. You will never be alone. You will always have a companion, even in the bathroom. I promise

7. You will always have someone to love unconditionally. No. matter. what. 

8. The bond you have with each of your children. Only YOU have that special bond with them. 

9. You learn what is really important in life. Pick your battles.

10. You really learn a lot about yourself, as you see your children growing. I always hear Gus reprimanding Olivia, just how I reprimand him. It's like I always have an echo. You start to see yourself in your children's actions and mannerisms. 

11. Cuddles. They are never-ending!

12. It's so rewarding! It's the best feeling when you hand your child something and he replies "Thank You, Mommy!". I love that!

13. No day is ever the exact same as the day before!

14. Random hugs and smooches! and "I wove you's"

15. The bond you have with other mothers! You develop a 6th sense that only another mother can understand it. It's really truly amazing and a beautiful thing!

Mommy & Me Headband Feature // Willow Crowns

I'm kicking off this Mother's Day week with a fabulous shop feature...Willow Crowns. Megan from Willow Crowns and Natalie from Natalie Atick Photography! I was thrilled when both these ladies agreed to this collaboration! 

I'm sure by you know how much I love supporting small businesses. I especially love supporting those run by stay-at-home mommies who run these small shops in order to be able to stay home and raise their little ones.

(She normally rips headbands off when she notices they are on her head!!)

Influenster //Viva Vox Box

This time around I was chosen by Inluenster to review the products in the Viva Vox Box. This was a pretty fantastic box. The items were all beauty products with the exception of the Shell Rewards Card. 

1// Vaseline Spray and Go moisturizer Cocoa Radiant-- I really like the Spray Concept for the lotion bottle. It much easier to apply than just a regular "squirt out" lotion bottle. However I wish that it would spray out more at a time. It doesn't moisturize as much as I would have liked it to. 

2// Pure Ice Nail Polish-- I loved the colors I got this nail polish in! Typically I dont like my nails too "busy". I'm more of a solid color girl on all my nails. But I tested the glitter out and it wasn't too bad. It was fun! The Quality was pretty good for an inexpensive nail polish. 

3// Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths-- I LOVED these! They leave your skin feeling fresh and clean. It removes makeup and doesnt leave your face feeling like you still need to wash it like other makeup removing wipes! This is definitely an A++ product!

4// NYC New York City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color-- This was another product I LOVED!! This is a lip crayon--a mix between a lip balm and lip stick. It's fanatastic! It stays on pretty much all day and keeps your lips moisturized. 

Prior to receiving this Vox Box I had tried the Revlon version of this product. It wore off quickly and made my lips really dry. But this one is excellent and for $2.99...you can't beat it! I went as far as going to buy it in a lighter shade for everyday wear!

5// Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas-- This face mask was amazing! I received the honey with jasmine mask and I loved it! It was soothing and relaxing and was so easy to apply! It left my skin feeling wonderfully soft and smooth! I loved the fact that all of their face masks are vegetarian and Eco-friendly. I need to stock up on these to use at least once a week!
